The overall theme Energy and protein metabolism and nutrition in relation to sustainability will be addressed in seven sessions covering a wide range of topics:

  1. Protein and energy metabolism in ruminants.
  2. Protein and energy metabolism in non-ruminants.
  3. Reducing environmental impact of livestock on GHG and other emissions.
  4. Feed processing, additives and novel feeds.
  5. Impact of heat stress and other environmental challenges on energy and protein metabolism.
  6. Methods and technologies for research and smart nutrition.
  7. Modelling.

We are looking forward to a face-to-face meeting to enhance interaction and fruitful discussions among participants. Nevertheless, the possibility of celebrating a hybrid symposium (also with online attendance) will be considered if necessary.
